Privacy Policy

What we collect when you visit our website, ask for a cash offer, call or text us, and exactly what we do with it.

Effective: October 10, 2026Last updated: October 10, 2026

The short version

The full policy below is what governs. This is the gist.

  • We use what you tell us to make an offer on your house and to stay in touch about it.
  • We don’t sell your information, and your phone number is never shared for anyone else’s marketing.
  • Texts only go to people who agree to them. Reply STOP at any time and they stop.
  • You can ask what we have on file about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

1Who we are

Tina Buys Homes (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local cash home buyer serving Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, Ohio. Tina Buys Homes is operated by [Legal business name, e.g. Tina Buys Homes LLC].

This policy covers our website and the conversations that start from it: the cash offer form, phone calls, text messages and emails. It does not cover websites run by other companies, even when we link to them.

2Information we collect

Information you give us

  • When you request an offer: the property address, city and ZIP code, your name, your phone number, and your email address if you choose to include it.
  • When we talk: details about the house, such as its condition, whether anyone lives there, and any mortgage or lien balances, plus anything you choose to share about your situation and timeline, such as an inheritance, a divorce or missed payments.
  • If you decide to sell to us: what’s needed to close, such as the legal names of the owners and documents like the deed, probate paperwork or a mortgage payoff statement.

Share only what you’re comfortable sharing. We don’t ask for your Social Security number or bank account details to make an offer. If you sell to us, the title company handling the closing may collect information like that directly from you under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, your browser sends some information on its own: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and when, the website that sent you here, and the page you submitted the form from. If you arrive from an ad, the link may carry campaign details (UTM tags or a Google click ID), which we save with your form so we know which ads are working.

Information from other sources

To value a property and prepare an offer, we may look at public records, such as county auditor, recorder and court records, which show ownership, tax and lien history.

3How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, evaluate the property and prepare a written cash offer.
  • To talk with you about the offer, schedule a walkthrough and set a closing date.
  • To complete a purchase you agree to, working with the title company and any attorneys involved.
  • To follow up with you, unless you’ve told us to stop.
  • To see which pages and ads are useful so we can improve the site.
  • To block spam and fraud and keep the site secure.
  • To meet legal obligations, keep business records and resolve disputes.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not give or rent your contact details to other companies for their own marketing.

4Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your property and your offer, including with automated technology. Agreeing to calls or texts is never a condition of selling your house to us.

5How we share information

We share information only when it’s needed to help you, run our business or follow the law:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our customer management and messaging software, website hosting, and analytics and advertising tools.
  • Closing partners such as title companies, closing attorneys and lenders, once you accept an offer and we move toward closing.
  • Buying partners. If we partner with another investor or assign our purchase contract to another buyer, we share the property details and what’s needed to complete your sale, and we’ll tell you who is involved before closing.
  • People you ask us to work with, such as your agent, your attorney or a family member handling an estate.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law, court order or subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of you, us or others.
  • Business changes. If our business is merged, sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.

6Cookies, analytics and ads

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We and the tools we use rely on them, and on similar technologies, for three things:

  • Making the site work, such as keeping the offer form functioning and blocking spam.
  • Analytics, such as Google Analytics, to understand which pages people visit and how they find us.
  • Advertising, such as Google Ads, to measure whether our ads lead to offer requests and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.

Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when the page loads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common standard for them, so our site does not currently respond to them.

7How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we have a reason to. If you request an offer and don’t sell, we keep a record of our contact for a reasonable period so we know your history if you reach out again. If you sell to us, we keep transaction records for as long as tax, real estate and other laws require. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a record of that request so we can keep honoring it.

8How we protect information

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to your information is limited to the people and service providers who need it to do their job. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If you need to send us sensitive documents, ask us for the safest way to do it rather than attaching them to a regular email.

9Your choices and rights

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong.
  • Delete your information, except records we’re required to keep by law or for a completed sale.
  • Stop calling, texting or emailing you. Reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or just tell us.

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 13. We’ll confirm the request is really from you before acting on it, and we’ll respond promptly and within any time limit the law sets. Depending on where you live, your state’s law may give you additional rights, and we’ll honor them.

10Children’s privacy

Our website and services are for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll post a clear notice here. Continuing to use the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
